Join the Christmas in Cochrane Celebration!

This holiday season, Explore Cochrane (The Cochrane Tourism Association) and the Chamber of Commerce invite you to take part in our Christmas in Cochrane event, strategically designed the night before Black Friday to spread holiday cheer and encourage our community and nearby visitors to shop local. We’re excited to partner in an integrated marketing campaign to promote the event, and create a festive atmosphere that draws in residents and visitors to explore everything Cochrane businesses have to offer!

Event Details:

• Holiday Storefront Competition: Show off your creativity and holiday spirit by decorating your storefront! Windows need to be decorated in time for Light Up Cochrane on November 23rd. The community will be encouraged to visit your business and vote for their favourite window from November 23rd to 28th. Winners will be announced on November 28th. 
• Late Night Shopping & Dining Evening: Keep your doors open until 9pm on November 28th to welcome shoppers looking for unique gifts, festive ambiance, and great deals. Businesses are encouraged to have an incentive to draw people in, this could be a holiday promotion, a giveaway or a small tasting.
• Additional Activities: We’re planning extras like hay rides and carolers to enhance the experience for residents and visitors and create a magical small-town Christmas atmosphere.

This event is a fantastic opportunity for businesses to increase visibility, engage with the community, and attract holiday shoppers. By creating an inviting holiday environment, we can inspire locals and nearby residents to choose Cochrane for their holiday shopping and celebrations.

Who Can Join?

Chamber of Commerce and/or Cochrane Tourism Members with a physical location are welcome to participate. There is no cost to register—simply sign up below to be part of the festivities and help us make Cochrane a destination for holiday cheer.
